What to Reach Out About
A converter isn't working. If a specific conversion fails, throws an error, or produces a corrupted file, send us the input format, the output format you tried, the file size, and a screenshot of the error if you have one. Bug reports with this information get fixed within a few days. Vague reports ("it doesn't work") take much longer because we have to reproduce the issue blind.
You need a format we don't support. We currently handle 25 image formats. If you need something else — JPEG XL, FLIF, OpenEXR, JXR, PCX, or any other format — let us know what you're trying to convert and why. We add new formats based on actual demand, not theoretical completeness.
You want to use the converter at scale. If you're building something that needs to convert thousands of images per day, the public site isn't the right tool — rate limits will get in the way. Email us about API access and we can discuss what makes sense.
Advertising and partnerships. For media kit requests, partnership proposals, or sponsorship enquiries, use the email below with "Partnership" in the subject line so it gets to the right inbox quickly.
Privacy questions or takedown requests. If you uploaded something by mistake and want confirmation it's been deleted, or if you have any privacy concerns, contact us. Files are automatically deleted within one hour of upload, but we'll respond to specific deletion requests within 24 hours.
Things We Can't Help With
Honest list, to save everyone time:
Recovering files you've already converted and lost. Once a file is deleted from our server (one hour after upload), it's gone — we don't keep backups. Always download immediately after conversion.
Editing image content. We convert formats only. We don't crop, resize, retouch, remove backgrounds, or apply filters. For editing, use Photopea (free, browser-based) or GIMP (free, desktop).
Recovering data from corrupted images. If your source file is damaged, our converter can't repair it. Specialized recovery tools like JpegMedic or PhotoRec might help.
Custom development work. We're not a development agency. If you need someone to build a custom image processing pipeline, hire a freelancer.
Response Times — Realistic Version
Bug reports and technical issues: usually within 48 hours, often faster.
Format requests: we read everything but only reply if we're going to add the format. No reply doesn't mean ignored — it usually means the request is in the queue but we're not committing to a timeline.
Partnership and advertising enquiries: within 3 business days.
General questions and feedback: within a week, typically faster.
We're a small team, so weekends and holidays slow things down. We don't use auto-responders that pretend to be helpful.
Before You Email — Quick Self-Help
Most issues people email about have fast answers:
"Upload fails." Check the file size — our limit is 50 MB. If your file is larger, compress it first or use a desktop tool.
"Output file is empty or 0 KB." Usually a corrupted source file. Try opening the original in another image viewer to confirm it works.
"Wrong colors after conversion." Color profile mismatch. If your source is CMYK or has an embedded ICC profile that doesn't survive conversion, the output may shift. Convert to sRGB first using a desktop editor.
"HEIC won't upload." Make sure your browser is up to date. Older browsers don't recognize HEIC's MIME type and reject the upload before it even reaches our server.
"Converter is slow." RAW and TIFF files can take 15 to 30 seconds to process — that's normal because of how those formats are structured. Smaller formats convert in 2 to 5 seconds.
